AJFC Website
To All,
please note that the website has been a little stagnant for a few months now since the close of the 2008/2009 season.
In the coming weeks the webmaster will be giving the site a spring (summer) clean and removing old posts and updating the age group areas with the correct information. Currently the age groups reflect the 2008/2009 season.
As the new season approaches please come back and visit as we will start to populate it with useful information. |

The website was created in June 2008 by the U16s manager after numerous requests from parent for our non existent web address. The site uses a collaborative approach allowing articles and details to be added and modified by all the key club members without requiring them all to be web experts. It also allows us to add new features and change the layout without bringing the site down. We hope that everyone enjoys our site and welcome any suggestions which you feel may improve the experience. Please email or phone any of the contacts shown on the site and all suggestions will be taken seriously.
We welcome people to register with the site. Doing this allows us (Aston FC) to restrict some information to registered users only and manage who is allowed to be registered. However whilst the site is in its infancy we are allowing anyone to be able to register.
It is a requirement when accessing the forums that you be registerd and logged in. Once logged in you are able to customize your user in many ways, changing your avatar (image) and subscribe to RSS feeds from the forum for instant post notification.
We hope that we have created an environment which encourages people to visit and revisit the site because they find it interesting. In the coming season we will be encouraging managers to write match reports each week as well as keep records about training and any other news which affects the teams /clubs such as latest Tote draws. We will be encouraging the players to use the forums to discuss matches and all matters concerning the club. |
