Well done to Paul Hemming (manager) and Aston FC who won the Aston cum Aughton Village cup on Friday 22nd August to add to their every increasing collection of trophies.
They met Aston Athletic in the final played at Lodge Lane and despite going one nil down, came back to win convincingly 7-1.
Hopefully we can get some photos of the event and the list of results.
Thanks goes to the Parish Council for putting on the event and all those players and teams and the many supporters who turned up to cheer the event. |

Are you a regular visitor to this site and are not seeing new stuff ?
Please be patient as we are slowly but surely getting everyone involved to learn how to put stuff on which takes a little time.
However once the fixture lists have been published and the season draws closer the site will be a hive of activity with match reports and discussions on the forum about the coming season. So keep coming back and we promise things will get better soon.
