On Saturday 25/4/09 we played High Green Villa in a league title crunch match and ended up drawing 0-0 which gave us promotion and the 2nd Division Title
many thanks to everyone who turned out to support us it was a very hard fought game with very few chances, we might have clinched it in the last 5mins with two good chances one a header that just went wide of the post and the second was a save from the goalkeeper that he didnt know much about, but thats how it goes. A special thanks to Tracy & Darren who helped us out on the day we made £32 on the raffle.
Thanks to all the team who have had a really great season, and Man of the Match on Saturday was without a doubt Danny White, and another mention to a young player who joined us this season and has come on fantastic is Ryan Hudson, he also had a very good game in such a high pressure match.
