Adlington Junior Football Club would like to say a heartfelt thank you to every single person who gave up their time to be part of Adlington Carnival weekend, especially Saturday's parade.

From designing, building and decorating the float to dressing up, walking the route, cheering from the roadside and representing the club with pride, the weekend showed exactly what Adlington JFC is all about.

Seeing so many children, parents, coaches, volunteers and supporters smiling, laughing and getting involved was a brilliant reminder that the club is much more than football on a pitch.

Finishing second in the parade was the icing on the cake, especially alongside so many fantastic community entries. Congratulations also go to the Yellow Submarine float by Gaz Dale on a brilliant effort.

The club is also grateful to everyone who helped organise and support the schools' football tournament, everyone who took part in the tug of war, and everyone who simply came along to cheer the club on.

Weekends like this remind us that Adlington JFC is a family: a place where friendships are made, children grow in confidence, volunteers give so much without expecting anything back, and the wider community comes together with pride.

To every child who wears the badge, every parent on the sidelines, every coach who gives up their evenings and every volunteer working behind the scenes, thank you. You are the heartbeat of the club.

Thank you for making Carnival weekend such a special one. Here is to creating even more memories together next year.
