Adlington Junior Football Club came together on Saturday 13 June 2026 for its annual Presentation Day, celebrating another fantastic season of grassroots football, teamwork and community spirit.
The day brought players, coaches, families, volunteers and supporters together to recognise the hard work, commitment and progress shown across the club throughout the season. From the youngest age groups taking their first steps in football to the older teams continuing to develop their skills and friendships, Presentation Day was a chance to reflect on everything achieved both on and off the pitch.
Photos shared from the day captured exactly what Adlington JFC is all about: smiling players, proud families, coaches celebrating their teams, and a club community enjoying a special occasion together. There was a brilliant turnout across the day, with plenty of colour, laughter and support around the club as teams received their end-of-season recognition.
Presentation Day is always more than just trophies and awards. It is about recognising effort, improvement, attitude and the values that make junior football so important. Every player who pulled on an Adlington shirt this season played their part, whether through goals, saves, tackles, teamwork, encouragement or simply turning up each week ready to learn and enjoy the game.
The event also highlighted the huge amount of work that goes on behind the scenes. Coaches, committee members, volunteers, parents and sponsors all play a vital role in keeping grassroots football running, and the success of the day was another reminder of the strength of the Adlington JFC family.
Adlington JFC’s message of “one team, one club, one family” was clear throughout the celebrations. Presentation Day 2026 was not just the end of another season; it was a celebration of the friendships, memories and community spirit built through football.
A huge well done goes to every player, coach and team involved this season, and a big thank you to everyone who helped organise, support and make the day such a success.
